Clips, news and insight by Ryan, for the masses!

Heres my deal....I consider myself an Independent Voter, I hold no party affiliation. I voted for Bush Jr. TWICE! Yes, I will admit it. That being said, I am very excited about America's choice in Barack Obama. If nothing more, I believe that it represents a call for change in American politics.

I will try to bash all parties equally, although you will see more right bashing than left. I'm sorry, that's just who I am. Like I said, Obama has struck a cord with me....we will see how long it lasts. I will though take swings at either party when I see something I don't like.

I am what most would call a liberal, so Republican tactics and style really get on my nerves. ALL politicians suck, but I will try to be fair. We live in a great age of information. Everyone should be informed.

We should be looking forward to a new era of American politics where our president encourages public involvement in the presidency and listens to our concerns. I expect Barack Obama to hold up to his end of the deal. If he does not, I will be the first to say so.

Lets give it some time people. We have not been cured of our racism in America, but we are making strides. I am not a religious man. I have my own beliefs, but you will find no religious bias here! I find most people hide behind religion in order to cover up their own prejudice and use their convictions in order to cast judgement.

Tired of me yet? :)

The Lieberman Debate

The line about being his mentor is great. This is case in point why people are so frustrated with the Democrats decision to give Lieberman what results in a slap on the wrist. When he needed re-election, he turned to the Democratic superstar Barack Obama for help. Praised him and vowed to help him recognize his vision for America.

Times sure do change quickly.

Say what you want to say about Lieberman, the man obviously has close connections and those became painfully obvious when the Democrats voted overwhelmingly to keep him as the head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Tuesday. The Senate is one big swinging dicks club. Often referred to as one of the most elite memberships in the world, they take care of their own, no matter what. The 6 years from 2000-2006 when the Republicans controlled the Senate was horrible. It allowed Bush to wreak havoc all over the world.

The last 2 years with a Democratic majority have been no better. The Dems are weak and need to learn how to be the party in charge. Otherwise its time to turn in your membership card.
