Clips, news and insight by Ryan, for the masses!

Heres my deal....I consider myself an Independent Voter, I hold no party affiliation. I voted for Bush Jr. TWICE! Yes, I will admit it. That being said, I am very excited about America's choice in Barack Obama. If nothing more, I believe that it represents a call for change in American politics.

I will try to bash all parties equally, although you will see more right bashing than left. I'm sorry, that's just who I am. Like I said, Obama has struck a cord with me....we will see how long it lasts. I will though take swings at either party when I see something I don't like.

I am what most would call a liberal, so Republican tactics and style really get on my nerves. ALL politicians suck, but I will try to be fair. We live in a great age of information. Everyone should be informed.

We should be looking forward to a new era of American politics where our president encourages public involvement in the presidency and listens to our concerns. I expect Barack Obama to hold up to his end of the deal. If he does not, I will be the first to say so.

Lets give it some time people. We have not been cured of our racism in America, but we are making strides. I am not a religious man. I have my own beliefs, but you will find no religious bias here! I find most people hide behind religion in order to cover up their own prejudice and use their convictions in order to cast judgement.

Tired of me yet? :)

Man Of God?

I pray for a day when we don’t have to hear about these types of stories anymore. I keep hearing this from some religious people I know, “We are going to pray for Obama”. On the surface one would think it’s a nice gesture to pray for a new president no matter what you voted. On most years I think people honestly do that. I get the sneaking suspicion though that these are not genuine prayers. That there is condescension in the air. Like they need to pray because they can’t bare the thought of Barack Hussein Obama being president (yeah I said his middle name). I do hope I am wrong and that everyone has decided to rally around the new president knowing he has a tough job on his shoulders. I think though there is something fishy going on here.
