Clips, news and insight by Ryan, for the masses!

Heres my deal....I consider myself an Independent Voter, I hold no party affiliation. I voted for Bush Jr. TWICE! Yes, I will admit it. That being said, I am very excited about America's choice in Barack Obama. If nothing more, I believe that it represents a call for change in American politics.

I will try to bash all parties equally, although you will see more right bashing than left. I'm sorry, that's just who I am. Like I said, Obama has struck a cord with me....we will see how long it lasts. I will though take swings at either party when I see something I don't like.

I am what most would call a liberal, so Republican tactics and style really get on my nerves. ALL politicians suck, but I will try to be fair. We live in a great age of information. Everyone should be informed.

We should be looking forward to a new era of American politics where our president encourages public involvement in the presidency and listens to our concerns. I expect Barack Obama to hold up to his end of the deal. If he does not, I will be the first to say so.

Lets give it some time people. We have not been cured of our racism in America, but we are making strides. I am not a religious man. I have my own beliefs, but you will find no religious bias here! I find most people hide behind religion in order to cover up their own prejudice and use their convictions in order to cast judgement.

Tired of me yet? :)

Obama Resigns!!!! …….from the Senate.

mccain

In a press release today…

“It has been one of the highest honors and privileges of my life to have served the people of Illinois in the United States Senate, In a state that represents the crossroads of a nation, I have met so many men and women who’ve taken different journeys, but hold common hopes for their children’s future. It is these Illinois families and their stories that will stay with me as I leave the United States Senate and begin the hard task of fulfilling the simple hopes and common dreams of all Americans as our nation’s next President.”

The successor will now be in the hands of Democratic Governor, Rod Blagojevich of Illinois. Two names being thrown around are Jesse Jackson Jr. (the favorite) and Valerie Jarrett (the underdog and close associate of President-Elect Obama).
